본 연구에서는 선행연구분석과 설문조사를 통해 과학기술 정보유통 활성화를 위한 표준 과학기술 정보유통 인터페이스를 분석하고 개발하였다. 조사 대상은 국내에서 한국과학기술정보연구원을 비롯하여 교육학술정보원, 서울대학교, LG상남도서관, 국회도서관, NTIS, OCLC의 검색 인터페이스를 비교·분석하였다. 제안 항목은 검색 편의 요소인 검색창과 검색처리 아이콘, 결과제시 아이콘이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 과학기술 정보검색용 표준인터페이스를 위한 중요한 데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Interface is a communication mechanism between users and information system. This research suggests the guidelines for the user interface design in the IR system. For the development, we would survey and analyse the major library's IR interface windows. It is included in the guidelines and suggestions that IR's windows, data process icons and display's icons of the information retrieval results. So this research's results are utilized to the standard interface development for the information services.
