본 연구는 2011년 개정 국어과 교육과정에서 <쓰기> 영역의 내용에 대하여 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 ‘내용 체계’와 ‘학년군별 세부 내용’으로 구분하여 각각의 특성과 위계화 체계를 파악하였고 ‘학년군별 세부 내용’을 분석하기 위하여 ‘내용 선정의 적합성’과 ‘내용 조직의 적합성’ 측면으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 그 결과 전체적으로 2007년 개정 교육과정에서 문제점으로 지적한 사항들에 대한 의견을 적극적으로 반영하여 보다 효과적인 방향으로 개정했다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 단시간 내에 교육과정이 집필되어서 그런지 ‘학년군별 세부 내용’의 내용 선정과 내용 조직 측면에서 적합성 정도가 낮다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 내용 조직의 체계성 부분이 많이 미흡하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the contents of the writing section in the 2011 reformed curriculum of korean language Arts. This study investigated appropriateness of the selection and organization of content to analyze the character and logic of the structure of learning element and grade band’s achievement standards of the writing section in the new curriculum. As a result of the study, it is found that the 2011 reformed curriculum of korean language Arts has been reformed effectively in the direction of accepting solutions about the problems to point out in the 2007 reformed curriculum. But the writing section of the 2011 reformed curriculum has problems about lack of appropriateness in the organization of content because of making in a short period of time.
