본 연구의 목적은 예비 사회복지사의 인권의식 수준을 확인하고 인권의식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색함으로써, 예비 사회복지사의 인권의식 향상을 위한 개입방안 모색에 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경기도와 전라도 지역 4년제 대학교 2곳에서 연구 참여에 동의한 사회복지 관련 전공 대학생 139명, 타 전공 대학생 140명의 총 279명을 대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, 독립표본 t-검증, 상관관계검증 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 사회복지 관련 전공 대학생의 전반적인 인권의식은 타 전공 대학생들과 비슷한 수준으로, 일부 하위요인과 특정한 내용에서만 유의하게 높은 수준을 보였다. 둘째, 사회복지 관련 대학생의 인권의식을 예측하는 주요인은 인권 학습경험으로, 일부 하위요인 및 내용에 따라 인권에 대한 관심이나 성별이 추가적인 영향을 미쳤다. 타 전공 대학생의 경우 인권에 대한 관심이 인권의식 형성에 영향을 미치는 주요인으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 예비 사회복지사의 인권의식 수준을 향상시키기 위한 인권교육의 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to survey pre‐service social workers’ human rights consciousness level, and to find factors influencing their human rights consciousness. For the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 304 students who were sampled from two 4‐year universities in Gyeonggi‐do and Jolla‐do and gave their consent to participate in the research, and 139 of the participants majored in social welfare and 140 were from other departments. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, social welfare students’ overall human rights consciousness was similar to that of other students, and they showed a significantly higher level only in some sub‐factors and specific contents. Second, the main factor predicting social welfare students’ human rights consciousness was experience in learning about human rights education, and for some sub‐factors and contents, interest in human rights and gender had an additional effect. In other students, interest in human rights was the main factor influencing their human rights consciousness
