This study aims to research Chinese conversation textbooks whether it reflect the research results about yinwei in natural discourse. Yinwei(because) is one of connectives expressing cause or reason, and the clause that is led by yinwei is now changing from antecedent clause to following clause according to many previous researches. So this study asks three questions: first, is this change reflected in Chinese conversation textbooks, if so, how much is it reflected?; second, is there something in common and differences in terms of its reflection?; third, How do we have to think about embodiment in grammar on the basis of the findings? Consequently, the findings explain: first, Chinese conversation textbooks reflect changes in natural discourse to some degree, to put it concretly, they reflect lower them than natural discourse, but the tendency is similar to natural discourse in terms of overall; second, this results probably are caused by conservativeness that textbook has to fulfill as dictionary. It can not follow immediately trend right now, when the change has almost finished, it reflects the change at last; third, nevertheless, we have to have an dynamic view that language always changes in use, since embodiment is not something substantive. Therefore we should investigate all the time trend to how language change and treat even if the class belongs to elementary level, otherwise, we could be running against a stump with language learning between the discourse of real life and imaginary life in the textbook.
