A philosophical interpretaion of adaptation(權) in mencius philosophy

공자의 "시(時)"와 "중용(中庸)"은 바로 맹자에게서 " 경(經)"과 "권(權)"의 개념으로 발전하였다. 이 개념들은 보편적 인 준칙이면서 특수한 실천을 이끌어내는 것이다. 맹자의 "권(權)"도의 문제는 선한 본성의 보편과 특수의 적용 문제 이다. 맹자에게서 평상시에 준수해야만 하는 도덕질서가 "경 經"이라고 하며, 이것이 보편적 도덕 준칙이다. 그러나 일의 형세 에 따라서 그 상황이 바뀌게 된다. 그 바뀐 형세에 따라서 우리 의 도덕적 행위가 급박하게 실행되는데, 이것을 "권權"이라고 하 며, 바로 특수한 도덕적 적용이다. 맹자가 말한 "사성(思誠)", "성 (誠)", "양지(良知)", "양능(良能)" 등의 개념들 역시 "권(權)"도 의 확충이다. 이 논문에서는 이런 점들을 부각시켜 관찰하였다.

Confucius a "shi"(時) and "the doctrine of mean"(中庸) expand for constancy(經) and adaptation(權) in mencius. This notions leads up to universialitic a standing rule and Specific a practice. Probleme of Mencius make proper adaptations a duty is application of goodness universiality and Specific. But for mencius, in ordinary times moral order of moral abiding is constancy. This constancy is universialitic a moral standing rule. But in proportion to a case, according to circumstance undergo a change. This according to circumstance undergo a change, we’s moral practice imminentve performanced. To This, remark for adaptaion. And this is Specific moral application. Mencius speaking to "sicheng"(思誠), "cheng"(誠), "liangzhi"(良知), "liangneng"(良能)etc aiso is adaptaion rule an expansion. This a thesis leads up to stand out this point.
