AB - This study addresses the Lotman's structural poetics and linguistic analysis on artistic text. Lotman's theory of poetic language is based on the supposition that meaning arises not only from phonological oppositions, but from every kind of opposition that the devices of poetry can construct. And for the full understanding of literarture Lotman employs the various linguistic methods in the text analysis.
