This paper is to present how a network of co-occurring nouns of some event nouns is formed. Not only have we looked at the distribution, frequency and strength in connections between related words, but we have also presented some way to shed light on what this network means to linguistic and social studies. The source data are morphological components of Trends 21 Corpus, which cover all newspaper articles from four major newspapers, including Chosun, Dong-a, Joongang, and Hankyoreh, issued from 2000 through 2008. Based on nodes, links, and their connectivity indices considering t-score ―density, degree, and centralization― we have been able to retrieve and cluster related words forming the network based on 20 event nouns. Also, we examine subnetworks of the large network.
