A Study on Korean Student's Chinese Pronunciation and Instruction Method Woo, In-ho Mispronunciation of a foreign language learner may not have a crucial effect on communication because certain words or expression can be understood through the whole context despite the pronunciation fault. However, serious phonological errors of a speaker causing the extreme inconveniences of understanding would possibly keep the listners from the conversation or make them refuse to work together, which will bring the communicaion to an end. Therefore, the very correct pronunciation is the base of Chinese learning and accordingly it needs education strategies for effective prununciation learning.This study aims to complement existing methods of teaching Chinese pronunciation. Essential parts to improve the accuracy of pronunciation, to which not given enough attention so far, were the the subject of investigation. In this study, I researched Chinese pronunciation phenomenon of the learners whose native language is Korean and tried to find solutions to their problems.
