AB - China's Pro-environment Development Strategy and Eco-industrial Park Choi, Eui-hyun This study analyzes the Chinese policy making process on the construction of eco-industrial parks and prospects their development comparing with forerunner's experiences. From the deep investigation for governmental documents and related data, this study finds out follows:First, although relatively lately start, Chinese eco-industrial parks grow very fast. This fast growth caused by pro-environment and resource saving economic policy.Second, eco-industrial parks strictly managed and controlled by central government. This policy can restrict the oversupply possibility problem by local governments which have incentives to display administrations.Third, there has not completely set up for related laws and regulations. The basic examinations of qualifications are completed on 2006 and they need to complement a tax incentives and favors for investment.Finally, implications for Korea, We regard to construct network with Korean eco-industrial parks. Our parks also launched lately, so we set up exchange network for industrial waste products between two countries.
