This thesis, on the case study of the debate on “Dano cultural heritage” between Korean and Chinese internet users, tried to find out construction elements during the process of Korean-Chinese cross-cultural communication, and discussed if there were any difference in understanding this issues between the two countries. The research is limited in the relative debate on certain websites of the two countries: Korea (daum, yahoo, naver in Korea), China(sina, sohu, yahoo in Chinese), which are the most popular websites in each countries. The research decomposes the debate on 7 dimensions: Historical, political, cultural heritage, self-ethnocentric, economic, Confucius and original understanding. During the analysis on the debate from these 7 kinds of understanding, the research found the difference in understanding on the debate of “Dano cultural heritage” between the two countries’ people. This research is helpful to understand correctly and in depth the International communication of Korea and China.
