이 연구에서는 ‘창의적 체험활동 교육과정’의 운영을 지원하기 위해 도입된 ‘에듀팟’ 시스템의 활용 현황이 어떠하며 그 문제점이 무엇인지를 심도 있게 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였고, 이를 위해 수도권 소재 고등학교 유형별로 학생과 교사, 그리고 수도권 소재 대학의 입학사정관을 대상으로 포커스 그룹(focus group)을 선정하여 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 고등학교와 학생들의 에듀팟 가입률이 높은데 비해 실질적으로 활용하는 수준이 낮은 상황에서 학교와 지역, 그리고 학생 특성별로 에듀팟 활용도에 차이가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 곧 대학 진학 지도에 열의가 있는 고등학교나 교육열이 높은 지역의 학교에서, 그리고 성적 상위권 학생들이 상대적으로 더 에듀팟 활용을 적극적으로 하고 있었다. 또한, 에듀팟 포트폴리오 자료의 대학 입시 반영 여부가 고교의 에듀팟 활용도에 결정적 영향이 있었는데, 대입전형자료로서 에듀팟 포트폴리오의 활용도를 높이기 위한 요건으로는 평가 역량별로 적합한 전형 자료와 평가방식, 그리고 평가척도의 선별적 적용이 필요하다는 것을 추론해 낼 수 있었다. 결론적으로 에듀팟 활용을 위한 고교 및 대학 정책이 개선될 경우 에듀팟 활용도를 향상시킬 수 있는 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 고교와 대학에서의 노력이 상호 연계되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 고교의 창의적 체험활동 교육과정 운영을 지원하기 위한 에듀팟은 그 활용도를 높이기 위해서 대입전형에서의 활용도가 높아야 하고, 이를 위해서는 에듀팟 자료의 신뢰성 확보가 중요하며, 이것은 다시 학교교육과정과의 연계나 교사의 승인과정과 같은 규정을 준수하는 등의 학교에서의 노력이 필요하기 때문이다.
The purpose of this study is to explore how much the‘Edu-pot' system introduced forpromoting the 'Creative-Activities Curriculum' is utilized in high schools, how high school students utilize it, and what are the problems in utilizing the ‘Edu-pot' system in high schools. A focus-group interview was applied for the study, and interviewees were comprised of several students and teachers in diverse types of high schools and admissions officers in colleges. The findings showed that students and teachers in high schools did not so much utilize 'Edu-pot' system in practice, that students with better grades and those attending at schools with more passionate guidance for going to college more used 'Edu-pot' system, and that their low uses of the ‘Edu-pot' system in high schools were caused by several facts, such as low utilization of 'Edu-pot' portfolio as a criterion for admission selection in many colleges and its difficulties in securing the reliability as a data for admission selection and in closely connecting with 'Creative-Activities Curriculum' in schools
