전통적으로 한국 사회에서 대학생은 정치, 사회적으로 중요한 위치와 역할을 차지해왔다. 특히 탈권위주의화·민주화와 같은 사회변동의 추동력이 되기도 했다. 하지만 최근 한국 사회 대학생들의 삶의 양식을 볼 때, 그와 같은 정치, 사회적 위치와 역할은 크게 변화 혹은 약화된 듯 하다. 특히 불공정하고 불합리한 정치, 사회적 현실에 대해 문제를 제기하고 시정을 요구하는 집합적 주체로서의 면모를 찾아보기 어려워졌다. 이와 관련 이 글에서는 현 시기 한국 대학생들의 삶의 양식과 가치관이 갖는 문제점을 추적하고, 그것의 극복을 위한 모형 탐색의 일환으로 1980년대의 대학생들의 삶의 양식과 가치관을 검토해본다. 한편 이 글에서는 이념의 기능과 가치관의 유형, 그리고 삶의 양식과 주체 유형에 관한 논의를 수행하고 있다. 이 글은 이에 바탕해, 현 시기 한국 대학생을 ‘지배이념적 가치관에 포획된 비사회 주체’로, 그리고 1980년대 한국 대학생을 ‘대항이념적 가치관에 바탕한 능동적 사회주체’로 규정한다. 하지만 1980년대 한국 대학생의 삶의 양식과 가치관이 하나의 모형으로서 자리매김되기 위해서는 세 가지 문제의 해결을 위한 방안이 먼저 모색되어야 한다. 첫째, 이념의 교조적 수용의 지양. 둘째, 이념적 타자와의 생산적 소통을 위한 역량의 증대. 셋째, 생명을 경시하는 실천방식 지양이 바로 그것이다.
Typically, a university students are important to political-social status and role in korea. especially, they were a force of democratization. But the latest, their influence is weaken. Henthforth, this article chases a university student's problem of life style and a sense of values in the present day. And searchs a model to overcome it's problem. At this time, investigates a university student's life style and a sense of values in 1980's. On the one hand, this article takes to argue a functions of ideology and types of a sense of values, and types of life style and the subject. As a result of this, this article defines a university students in the present time as ‘non-the social subject is seized by domination ideology’, And a university students in 1980's as ‘the social subject based on Counter Ideological value’. However, a university student's life style and a sense of values in 1980's have some problems. The first, dogmatic reception of ideology. The Second, lack of ability to communicate with ideological others. The third, a pratical mode of contemption of life. From now on, It is important to solve that problems.
