本尊像은 호쾌한 남성적 이미지를, 그보다 뒤로 다소곳이 물러서 수줍은 미소를 띄고 있는 右脇侍菩薩像은 여성적 이미지를, 그리고 그보다 더 뒤로 물러서서 한켠에서 자기만의 놀이의 세계에 빠져 있는 아기의 이미지를 띄고 있는 左脇侍菩薩像은 마치 백제의 한 가족을 표현한 것 같은 느낌을 주고 있다. 곧 본존이 아버지라면 右脇侍菩薩像은 어머니, 左脇侍菩薩像은 ‘아기’를 表象하고 있는 것같다. 삼존 모두의 얼굴에 백제인의 肖像的 성격이 강하게 나타나고 전체적으로 소박하면서 밝고 유쾌한 분위기가 지배하고 있는데 이는 백제인의 한 가정의 화기애애하고 단란한 가족사진을 보는 것과 같은 느낌을 준다. 한편 本尊像의 고찰에서도 언급하였듯이 삼존불을 조성한 장인은 긍극적으로 소박한 한 백제 가족의 모습을 통해 부처와 중생이 둘이 아니라 하나라는 不二의 경지를 시각화하고 있다고 할 수 있다.大乘佛敎에서는 중생과 부처가 둘이 아니라 하나라고 하는 不二의 경지를 긍극적인 진리라고 설하는데 瑞山磨崖三尊佛은 중생으로부터의 거리, 예배대상과 예배자 사이의 뛰어넘을 수 없는 거리를 넘어서서 중생과 하나가 되는 이른바 不二의 경지를 體現하고 있는 것이라고 생각된다. 그리고 그러한 진리의 세계를 몸에 익은 듯이 자연스럽고 무르익은 조형언어를 통해 표현해 낸 것을 볼 때 삼존불을 조성한 장인 스스로가 對立을 전제로 한 관념의 세계를 떠나 진리의 세계를 체험한 존재였을 가능성이 크다고 생각된다


The main Buddha image shows the manly appearance, while the right Bodhisattva image shows the modest feminine appearance and the left Bodhisattva image who is absorbed in play looks like infant. Thus the triad seems to represent a family of Paekche. It seems that the main Buddha image represents the father, the right feminine Bodhisattva represents the mother, and the left infant bodhisattva represents their baby. The each faces of the triad is generally very realistic and the plain, humorous and warm atmosphere dominates the triad. Thus the triad gives us the impression of the photograph of a happy family of Paekche. While it can be said that the artisan who has sculptured the Sosan triad has visualized the thought of the Mahayana Buddhism which explains the Buddha is not different from the mankind through expressing the artless appearance of a family of Paekche. The Mahayana Buddhism says the stage of no difference between the Buddha and the mankind is the ultimate truth, thus it can be said that the Sosan Triad embodies the state of no difference being unified the Buddha and the mankind over the distance between the Buddha and the mankind or between the object of worship and the worshipper. And looking at just the mode of expression of the truth of Mahayana Buddhism by the natural and mellow modeling word as like being experienced in the truth, the artisan who has sculptured the Sosan triad seems to be the being having experienced the world of truth free from the world of thought assuming the confrontation
