AB - This study is for clarifying the grammatical meaning of both ‘-amsi-’ and ‘-asi-’, that each has double meanings such as tense and aspect. The selection between tense and aspect of ‘-amsi-’ and ‘-asi-’ are influenced by words or grammatical morphes as the part of individual sentences. The grammatical meaning of ‘-amsi-’ and ‘-asi-’ is not sticked to either one or another, but included in tense and aspect all. Both ‘-amsi-’ and ‘-asi-’ which was ending suffix of sentence have primarily meaning of aspect previously. But with the experience of the process of language history, they have derivative meaning of tense. Therefore in current situation They have double meaning such as aspect and tense.
