본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 자아탄력성과 가족건강성이 진로성숙도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지 확인하는데 있다이에 따라 ‘중학생의 자아탄력성과 함께 가족건강성이 진로성숙도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는가?’, ‘중학생의 자아탄력성, 가족건강성은 진로성숙도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는가?’를 연구 문제로 설정하였다. 연구를 위하여 충청남도 Y군의 중학교에 다니는 남ㆍ여 학생 415명을 임의 표집하여 가족건강성, 자아탄력성, 진로성숙도 척도로 구성된 설문지로 실시하였다. 그 중 회수되지 않거나, 무성의하게 응답한 설문지를 제외하고, 성별과 학년간의 비율을 일정하게 하기 위하여 총 115부를 제외한 나머지 300부를 가지고 중다선형회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이에 대한 연구 결과, 자아탄력성과 가족건강성은 진로성숙도와 정적 상관관계가 있으며, 특히 자아탄력성이 가족건강성보다 진로성숙도에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가족건강성은 자아탄력성에 비해 진로성숙도에 크게 영향을 덜 미치나 진로성숙도에 유의미하게 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 다음과 같은 교육적 함의를 지닌다. 교육 기관과 사회복지 기관에서는 다양한 학부모 교육을 통하여 가족건강성에 대한 인식을 널리 알리고, 지역 사회 기관들은 서로의 긴밀한 연계를 통하여 가족의 건강성을 높일 수 있는 프로그램을 제공하여 가정들의 결속력을 높일 수 있도록 지원해야 할 것이다. 또한 학교 현장과 교사들은 학생들의 자아탄력성과 진로의식성숙도를 향상시키기 위하여 효과적인 진로 교육ㆍ상담 프로그램을 개발하고 운영하는 노력을 해야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of ego-resilience and family strength on career maturity. The specific research problem was asked “Does ego-resilience and perceived family strength effect middle school students’ career maturity?”In order to verify the matter as described above, 415 middle school students from Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnamdo, South Korea were surveyed using the criteria of ego-resilience perceived family strength, and career maturity. 300 surveys were selected and a correlation analyses, with multiple linear regression analysis was performed. The subordinate concepts of ego-resilience and family strength were also analyzed in order to understand their connection with career maturity. From the results, there was a statistically significant correlation between ego-resilience and career maturity with a correlation coefficient of r=.85. There was also a correlation between family strength and career maturity with a correlation coefficient of r=22. The ego-resilience predicted career maturity by 72.7%. The entire family strength predicted career maturity by just 0.3%. Therefore the entire ego-resilience and the entire family strength predicted career maturity by 73%. Hence, ego-resilience had a stronger power to predict career maturity than family strength.
