이 연구는 종합편성채널 텔레비전에서 방송하는 탈북인 재현 프로그램을 통해 남북한 주민의 시선과 마음 차이의 의미를 파악하려는 시도이다. 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통해 표출된 남한과 탈북주민들의 교차하는 시선과 마음은 양 국가의 이데올로기 장치에 의해 내면화된 사회적 마음이었고, 상대의 상(像)을 온전히 맺히게 하지 못하는 굴절장치로 작동하고 있었다. 미디어가 만드는 탈북인 상과 북한사회에 대해 갖게 되는 부정적인 이미지는 분단사회에서 통일을 염원하는 정서를 균열시키고 통합에 이르는데 제한적인 요인이 될 수 있다. 탈북인을 소구하는 미디어의 재현방식에 의한 왜곡된 표상은 북한(사람), 탈북주민과 여성에 대해 고정관념을 생산하며 분단사회에서 교차하는 시선과 마음을 공고히 하는 기제가 된다는 메시지에 주목해야 한다. 따라서 통합을 추구하려는 사회적 지향은 탈북인 재현방식과 담론산출에 대한 전반적인 성찰과 관심으로 지속되어야 할 것이다.
This study is an attempt to understand the meaning of the sight and mind of North Koreans defectors through the differences in the program of comprehensive channel television viewing to reproduce. through the focus group interview South Koreans and North Koreans defectors of cross the sight and mind was social mind as internalized by the ideological apparatus of the State, it has been working as refractive devices not to be fully aware of the other's appearance. Stereotypes of the North Korean defectors in a distorted and negative image that the media has to create about North Korea's desire to crack the sentiment of unity in society and the division is to reach a limiting factor for integration. Distorted representation by the media reproduction way to take advantage of the defection of the North Korean (person), produce stereotypes about North Korean defectors and women must be aware of the message that the mechanisms that strengthen the eyes and mind crossing in divided societies something to do. So on the other side for the integrated overall reflection and concern for representation method and discourse calculated on the North Korean defectors it will be continued.
