This study aims at examining the meaning and function of local culture contents development in digital age. Nowadays we take much interest in 'culture contents' and 'storytelling', these have very important status in the process of production and enjoyment of culture and art. Culture Technology is a requisite for improvement the structure of our culture and raise our global competitiveness in the world. This study tries to explain the meaning of 'cultural contents', 'storytelling', and the direction of 'local culture contents development' in digital age. 'Culture contents' and 'storytelling' are remarkable aspect to the fields of culture and art. The diversification of media and contents is a distinctive characteristic of the development of culture contents in digital era,The culture industries includes commercialization of cultural contents, but it is also the tool to preserve a nation's or region's culture and self identity. In these days 'culture contents', especially 'local culture contents' must act as a role of mental antibody against the negative characteristics of digital era, the presence of lightness which includes individual anxiety, communication interruptions. Therefore local culture contents development is an important part in the growth of cultural identity and spiritual values.
