The purpose of this paper is to discuss the problems of ‘angst','conquest', 'therapy' that appears in the poetry of Baek-seok through discussion of the process of Epic of Self in literary therapy. The curability pattern appearing in the poetry of Baek-seok develops in the form to conquest the emotion of angst or destitute and cure for it. This correspond in some sense to the process of ‘Epic of Self’ as being patients analyze the life of their own to diagnose problems of life. In the early poetry of Baek-seok, the movement to supplement Epic of self can be discovered quite often through return to the past. This can be identified through analysis of the relationship between child-persona and grown up hidden behind. Fear and angst felt by child –person is already based upon conquest. The early poetry of Baeksuk child persona employed well reveals the process offering emotions of ‘angst ',' fear ',' destitute. and curing of them. This can be understood to have deep relationship with special epic strategy of Baeksuk which creates magical curing & conquest in the network of grown up and child persona. The latter poetry of Baeksuk, of the network of child-grown up persona had been dismantled, reveals relatively transparent personal quest &process of conquest of the poetic narrator. The latter poetry of Baeksuk has significance in that it sought negative issue in life, and well exposes specifically the process of curing. As noticed, in the poetry of Baek-seok considerable portion of poetry have been found that properly reveals Epic of Self, based on persona react sensitively to time gap between the past and present. Such texts reveals concretely the process of awareness of the problem of life and the process of solving it in that sense it can be utilized as a medium of Literary Therapy.
