This Study aims to discuss about function and utilization of feuillton in a university press with special reference to the ‘Wonkwang University Press'. General a press of university is composed with page of news, planning, feuillton, culture, opinion, science and society. Contents of a newspaper of university are general limited, because a newspaper of university is different from a dairy newspaper, which has a large reader circulation. And because a newspaper of university is published weekly, it can't compete with a dairy newspaper. Informations about the university can be rapid spread with internet. Also a newspaper of university needs to renovate the established formation. A strategy for a renovation of a press of university is enlargement and reactivity of the feuillton. With this renovation the education of literary writing in the university can be revitalized. In case of the 'Wonkwang University Press', many students had written essays, novels and poems in the feuillton till the middle of 1980'. Also, many students of the Wonkwang University have made them debut as a literary writer. There is a necessity for development of latent abilities of literary writing of many students who live in a digital world. For this purpose I would like to propose as follows. 1. We can provide students the feuillton of a university press as a space for literary writing. They can write poems, serial novels and different essays. 2. It needs to avoid that only few students exclusively write in the feuillton. In order that many students can write, we can use a methode of serial writing which is similar to the writing in the digital age. 3. There is necessity for expanding of sphere of literary writing which includes different contents. Many different essays, for example, about films, musics, foods, travels, can be written in the feuillton. 4. We can connect writings in the feuillton to regular courses of writing in the university. We can motivate many students to write essays. 5. In case of the 'Wonkwang University Press', it can be cooperated with many educational operations for human knowledge, for example, 'The scholarship for humanity knowledge'.
