Given that the interest in Korea, and it's language and culture is increasing in and out of Korea, this paper reviews the importance of Korean cultural education in KFL. In addition, the effective cultural teaching methodology is proposed. It deals with the studies of cultural teaching in KFL as well as in EFL. As a result, the author found that the acquisition of inter-cultural competence, and comparative culture perspectives are required. To achieve this, consideration of the language learners' native language and culture is essential. Also, the inter-cultural communication should be fostered in KFL teaching/learning situation.
