본 연구는 진로의사결정 집단상담이 고등학생의 진로미결정과 자기효능감에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 목적이 있었다. 연구가설은 첫째, 진로의사결정 집단상담을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 진로미결정 수준이 낮아질 것이다. 둘째, 진로의사결정 집단상담을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 자기효능감 수준이 높아질 것이다. 연구대상은 D광역시에 소재한 고등학교 2학년 학생 30명을 실험집단과 통제집단에 각 15명씩 무선배정 하였다. 진로의사결정 프로그램은 Harren(1979)의 진로의사결정 이론에 근거하여 서울특별시교육청(2002)에서 개발한 ‘진로탐색 및 진로의사결정을 위한 집단상담 프로그램’을 기초로 하여 연구목적에 맞게 6단계 과정을 거쳐 총 12회기로 구성하였다. 자료 분석은 진로미결정과 자기효능감 척도의 하위 요인별로 사전-사후검사에서 얻은 점수로 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고, 하위 요인별 평균의 차이가 유의한지 알아보기 위해 공변량 분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 진로의사결정 집단상담에 참가한 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 자기명확성 부족, 진로정보 부족, 내적 갈등 영역에서 현저한 효과를 보이면서 진로미결정 수준이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 또한 진로의사결정 집단상담을 실시한 실험집단이 통제집단보다 자신감과 자기조절감에서 자기효능감 수준이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 진로의사결정 집단상담이 학생들에게 자신에 대한 확신감과 합리적인 진로결정을 할 수 있는 길잡이가 되었다는 것을 반영한다고 볼 수 있다.


The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of career decision-making group counseling on career indecision and self-efficacy of high school students. The hypotheses for this study were first, the career indecision levels in an experimental group participating in the career decision-making group counseling would be decreased more than that of the control group. Second, the self-efficacy of the experimental group would be enhanced more than that of the control group. The subjects of the study were consisted of the experimental and control groups by 15 high school students respectively in D city, Korea. 12 sessions of the career decision-making group counseling were carried out to the experimental group for 90 minutes each session. The results of this study were first, the level of the career indecision of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group among the high school students. It showed a remarkable effect in the part of the lack of self -concept clarity, the lack of career information and the inner conflict. It also indicated that the group counseling indicated a considerable effect on the counteracting ability for the specific task in hand. Second, the self-efficacy of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. It showed distinctive effects in the part of self-confidence and self-adjustment, but a meager change in the part of the task difficulty.
