This paper is to describe the formation process of the Neo-Shamanisms in the Buryats and the types of the Buryats Neo-Shamans. In the Buryats, various types of Shamanisms have been reported by the field researchers after 1990s, we may say that the Buryats' Shamanisms are a kind of mixed miniature of the varrous Siberian Neo-Shamanisms. For the efficient research, this paper divides the Buryats into East Buryats and West Buryats, and examines the process of the reappearance of the Buryats' Shamanisms both in the East and West Buryats. In the first part of the main body of this paper, the author tries to show the processes of the Neo-Shamanisms is in the East and West Buryats. The author points out that the tradition of the Shamanisms, which were prohibited and almost disappeared during the Soviet period, have come into life in the post-Soviet period. In the second part of this paper, the author tries to classify the Neo-Shamans available in the whole areas of the Buryats into four typical types. And the author demonstrates the characteristics of the four categories of the Buryats' Neo-shamans.
