A Study on the Historical view of Baekbum, Kim Koo

본 논문은 한국근현대사 낳은 위대한 선각자이자 사상가인 백범 김구의 역사관에 관한 것이다. 백범 김구는 민족과 역사에 대한 무한한 자부심과 긍지심으로 자신의 활동을 전개하였다. 그는 일생동안 조국광복과 통일을 위해 헌신하였다. 그의 활동은 자신의 세계관 특히 역사관에 의거하여 이루어진 것이라고 평가된다. 백범의 역사관은 그의 사상과 활동의 출발점이자 근거를 형성하고 있다고 판단된다. 이 논문에서는 그의 역사관을 크게 세 가지로 나누어서 분류하고 있다. 그의 역사관은 첫째, 민주주의를 기초한 보편적 역사관으로 규정지을 수 있다. 그는 자신의 정치이념을 자유로 규정하고 있다. 이 자유의 실현을 위한 현실적인 제도가 바로 민주주의다. 그는 민주주의에 대한 투철한 신념에 기초한 보편적인 역사관을 표방하고 있다. 둘째, 그의 역사관은 민족우선의 민족적 역사관으로 정의할 수 있다. 그는 민족의 영원성과 절대성을 강조하면서 민족주의적인 역사관을 강조하고 있다. 마지막으로 그의 역사관은 민족 내부의 역량구축을 통한 주체적 역사관으로 규정할 수 있다. 주체가 상실된 국가나 역사는 망각될 뿐이다. 민족주체는 반드시 민족내부의 역량 구축에 의해 형성된다,

This thesis is on the historical view of the Korean representative thinker, Baekbum Kim Koo. Baekbum Kim Koo has developed his activity with a infinite self-respect of our history, people. He was dedicated to the restoration of our country in his life time. His activity is judged to be performed by his historical view. His historical view is judged as the starting point of his thought and activity. The historical view of Baekbum Kim Koo is divided into three sorts. First, his historical view is defined as the universal historical view on the basis of a democracy. He has defined jis political ideology as a freedom. A realitic institution for the realization of freedom is a democracy. He had advocated the universal view of history with a genuine belief in democracy. Second, His historical view is characterized as the peoples-centering national view of history. Finally, his historical view is defined as the independent view of hostory. A state and history without independence is buried in oblivion. The national independence is formed by national inner power.
