臺灣布農族ㆍ濟州島ㆍ宮古島의 신화와 서사시는 비교신화학의 새로운 연구 과제로 중요한 가치와 의의를 지닌다. 비교신화학의 주요 과제가 특정한 정치권력의 주도자를 중심으로 하면서 체계적인 신화와 서사시를 자랑하는 신화만을 선택했다고 하는 점이 그간의 연구에서 진행된 잘못이 있다. 이제 비교신화학 연구의 방향 전환이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 비교신화학의 진정한 방향은 구성원의 문화주권을 복원하고 지구상에서 소외받는 제4세계 소수민족을 주목하여 비교 연구를 진행해야 한다. 그렇게 하는데 臺灣布農族ㆍ濟州島ㆍ宮古島의 신화와 서사시는 적절한 본보기로 된다. 이 세 가지 사례에 대한 비교 연구를 통해서 우리는 이면에 잠재된 신화와 본풀이의 연구에서 생기는 진정한 역사적 전개에 대한 의문을 다시금 품게 되었다. 크게 정치적 주권의 승패에서 밀려난 쪽이 신화와 서사시를 풍부하게 가지고 있는 기현상을 만나게 되었다는 점이다. 소수민족에게 신화와 서사시는 자신의 독특한 사고를 중심으로 자신들의 기억의 역사를 담는데 진정한 구실을 한다는 점을 명확하게 추론해낼 수 있다. 역사의 패권에서 밀린 쪽이 다양한 신화와 서사시를 풍부하게 지니고 있다는 점이 중요한 결론이다. 소수민족의 신화와 서사시가 진정한 가치를 지니고 있으며, 신화주권을 복원해야 마땅하다.
Oral poetry and Myth of The Bunun of Taiwan, Jeju island of Korea and Miyakojima are important issue as A Comparative Mythology. The main subject of A Comparative Mythology has been biased toward focusing on special political leader and some complete myth and oral-poetry until now. so We need to convert the view. This study pursue to restore the cultural initiative of diverse constituent members and focus on myth and oral-poetry of moinority race as the forth world. This study choice three semples to campare, The Bunun of Taiwan, Jeju island of Korea and Miyakojima. Finally This study reach to the new understanding about genuine hisotorical development through seeking the hidden side of myth and oral-poetry. The Bunun of Taiwan, Jeju island of Korea and Miyakojima of japan was ousted from political power namely sovereignty but they have been had abundant myth and oral-poetry. We can draw an inference Myth and oral-poetry is very important method as an alternative history filled with their memorial and unique thought. so We know the myth and oral-poetry of moinority race has genuine worth and restore the initiative of myth of them.
