AB - This paper aims to illustrate the similarities of the initials between modern Korean Chinese characters and medieval Chinese. Korean and Chinese are very different two languages, however, there is a systematic relation in the initials between modern Korean Chinese characters and medieval Chinese, and this paper will provide some evidences for this attractive phenomenon based on the research of medieval Chinese.
