2012년부터 서울시는 ‘공유도시 서울’을 기치로 내걸면서 공유경제의 활성화를통해 서울의 도시문제를 획기적으로 해결하려고 한다. 그러나 박원순 서울시장 및서울시의 공유경제 개념이 협동조합에 가까운 공유단체 및 공유기업 등의 소규모적인 경제활동으로 왜소화되어 있지는 아닌가라는 문제가 제기될 수 있다. 이 글에서는 공유경제와 서울의 만남을 이론적으로 재검토하고, 기존에 필자가 제출했던 ‘겹치고 트인 글로컬아고라’의 개념을 업그레이드하고 이에 기초해 지역적인 협동조합의 범위를 넘어서서 서울시 차원에서 추구할 수 있는 공유도시의 개념을 새롭게재구성하고자 한다.
Since 2012, Seoul’s municipal government has created ‘Sharing City Seoul’ to promote a sharing economy. However, mayor Won-Soon Park has limited this concept to small cooperatives. Here, I use the concept of ‘glocal agora’, which means open and overlapping sharing spaces, to expand and reconstruct the concept of a sharing city,which Seoul’s government could use to move beyond the spatial dimensions of local co-ops.
