오늘날 우리 사회가 당면하고 있는 위기 속에서 대안사회를 찾으려는 여러 노력들이 있다. 여러 논의들 중 특히 경상대 사회과학연구원팀의 참여계획경제론을 중심으로 대안사회론의 전망과 한계를 살핀다. 대안사회로의 이행을 사회구성체 내에서 자본주의적 생산양식이 축소되는 것으로 이해하면서, 사회적경제의 확충을 통한대안사회로의 이행의 가능성을 검토한다. 특히 ‘큰들문화예술센터’라는 한 생활-작업 공동체의 사례를 제시한다. 대안사회로의 이행을 검토함에 있어 인구학적 생태학적 변화와 그로 인한 가치지향의 변화에 대해 더 민감할 필요가 있음을 주장한다.
In response to global social crises, various theories for alternative societies have been suggested, among which the Participatory Planning Economy scheme of the ISS/GNU team is a systematic approach. After scrutinizing its core ideas, the transition to an alternative society may be understood as the scale and scope of the capitalist mode of production is being reduced. It is argued that the expansion of the social economy could be a viable option to create a transition, and the Keun Deul Cultural Art Center, a kind of life-work commu- nity, is introduced as a sustainable social economy organization. To create this transition, we should pay more attention to the scale and consequences of ecological and demographic changes, as well as changes in value orientations.
