The purpose of this paper is to lay the foundation for making teaching-learning methods of Korean indirect directive speech act. To reach this purpose, first of all, I set up the category of it. Then I watched what kind of strategies and expressions are used for this type of expressions. On the basis of this, I studied Korean language textbooks to confirm the current teaching-learning methods and the problem of them. In the textbooks, I could only find the conventionally indirect level. Furthermore the situations were not proper. I could hardly find out non- conventional indirect level. This is the worst problem. Even though we can not decide the forms of non-conventional indirect directive expressions, we should not give up the education of them. In this paper, I proposed classification of the strategies as an alternative.
