본 연구는 교사의 전문성 개발이 어떠한 경로에 의해 교수 효과성에 기여하는지를 헌신과 지식 공유를 매개변수로 설정하여 변인간의 관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 전국 유치원․초․중․고등학교에 근무하는 교사, 교감, 교장 등 2,576명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 SPSS 12.0과 AMOS 6.0을 활용하여 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 교수효과성에 지식공유가 가장 큰 영향력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 교수 학습을 효과적으로 개선시키기 위해서는 교사들 사이에 지식의 공유를 활성화하고 교사 헌신을 높여주어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 교사 헌신에는 지식 공유가 가장 큰 영향력을 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 교사 헌신을 높이기 위해서는 교사들 사이에 지식의 공유를 활성화하고 전문성 개발을 촉진해야 할 것이다. 끝으로, 교사의 전문성 개발이 교수 효과성에 직접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았지만 지식공유와 교사 헌신을 매개로 간접적으로 영향을 미치고 있기에 수업개선을 위한 전문성 개발이 여전히 중요한 변수임을 시사하고 있다.
The primary purpose of this study is to examine factors that influence teaching effectiveness. Through the critical investigation of the bulky literatures related to teaching effectiveness, exogenous variables are identified as antecedents of knowledge sharing and teacher commitment. For the statistical analysis, factor analysis and structural equation model were undertaken with SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 6.0 program. The two research questions were addressed in the study. First, how do the variables of this study(knowledge sharing, teacher commitment, professional development) affect teaching effectiveness? Second, how good is the goodness of fit statistics in the structural equation model of this study?Major findings from research questions are as follows: First, considering the analysis results, knowledge sharing and teacher commitment had effects on the teaching effectiveness. Second, professional development, knowledge sharing were demonstrated to have a substantial influence on the teacher commitment. Third, professional development was demonstrated to have a substantial influence on the knowledge sharing. I suggested some policy suggestions as followings: First, school administrators should facilitate knowledge sharing to improve teaching effectiveness. To facilitate knowledge sharing, piece rate program for teacher study groups needs to be introduced. Second, school administrators should enhance teacher commitment to improve teaching effectiveness. To enhance teacher commitment, school administrators should make teachers have pride for teaching and learning activities.
