이 논문에서는 전라방언에 나타나는 ‘내비두다, 내쏴두다’가 이루어지게 된 과정과 그 의미 변화를 탐색하였다. 여기서 다룬 자료는 ≪한국구비문학대계≫를 많이 참고하였고, ≪한국방언자료집≫과 ≪한민족언어정보화 통합검색프로그램≫을 주로 참고하였다. 전라방언이 많이 수록된 문학작품을 참고하여 보완하려고 노력하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 확인하였다. 첫째, 복합동사 ‘내버리다’는 ‘내쏘다, 내던지다, 내박치다’와 유의어로 서로 교체되어 쓰이고 있었다. 둘째, 복합동사 ‘내버리다, 내쏘다, 내던지다, 내박치다’ 등에 조동사 ‘두다’가 연결되면 ‘내버려두다, 내쏴두다, 내던져 두다, 내박쳐 두다’로 쓰이는데 이때 ‘내버려두다, 내쏴두다’는 ‘내비두다/냅두다, 내싸두다/냅싸두다’로 쓰여 어간재구조화가 일어나며, 조동사 ‘버리다’가 연결되면서 ‘냅둬 버리다, 냅싸둬 버리다’가 사용되면서 어간이 굳어진 것을 볼 수 있다. 셋째, ‘내비두다’는 ‘내쏴두다, 내박쳐 두다, 내던져 두다’ 등과, ‘그만두다, 놓아두다, 그냥 두다, 가만 두다’ 등과도 유의적 관계를 갖고 쓰이고 있다.

This study is aimed to rearch for change of meaning and dialectic divergency on ‘naebiduda, naesswaduda’ in jeolla dialect. I have used ‘gubimunhakdaegye’ and a lot of novels to pick over the dialects In chapter 2, I have refered to the changing process of ‘naebeorida’. especilly researching for dialectic divergency of ‘bʌrida, naebeorida’ and connection of ‘naessoda, naebakchida, naedeonjida’ In chapter 3, I have refered to the change of meaning on ‘naebeoryeoduda, naebiduda, naesswaduda’ and the attaching of auxiliary verb ‘beorida’ in jeolla dialect. In chapter 4, I have refered to the meaning network of similar words connected with ‘naebiduda’, that is, ‘naebakcheo duda’, ‘naedeonjeo duda’, ‘noaduda’, ‘geumanduda’, ‘geunyang duda’ etc. In conclusion, we have recognized that ‘naebduda, naessaduda’ had reconstructed from ‘naeboeryeo duda, naessoa duda’.
