본 연구는 기업가정신의 결정요인을 분석하여 바람직한 기업가 상을 정립하는데 연구의 주안점을 두었다. 연구의 표본은 부산·경남지역에 소재한 350여개 제조기업체의 최고경영자를 대상으로 실증조사를 하였으며, 설문내용은 기업가정신의 결정요인에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인을 중심으로 응답자가 체크할 수 있도록 등간척도법을 사용하였고, 자료의 통계처리는 필요에 따라 연구목적에 적합한 항목분석, 요인분석, 판별분석과 정준상관분석 기법을 병행하였다.실증분석 결과 환경과 조직구조 및 전략에 대한 기업규모에 따른 태도의 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났고, 기업가정신의 결정요인은 중소기업에서는 조직구조 요인에, 중견기업에서는 기업전략의 명확성과 환경요인에, 대기업에서는 조직 구성원 간에 광범위하고 개방적인 내적 의사소통이 이루어질 수 있는 조직적 구조에 대한 의존성에 의해 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 중소기업이 조직구조 요인에 의해 많은 영향을 받고 있음은 규모적인 측면에서 중소기업은 경영자의 리더십이 결정적인 요인이 되기 때문일 것으로 판단된다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 기업에 종사하는 조직구성원들이 기업가정신을 발휘할 수 있는 팀워크 체제로의 전환에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보며, 아울러 기업의 경쟁력제고나 바람직한 새로운 조직문화의 형성과 발전에도 긍정적인 작용을 할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.


Followings are the results of study about examining and analyzing the determinant factor of entrepreneurship. First, the difference of attitudes in enterprise patterns concerning environment, organizing structure and industrial strategy is revealed meaningfully between small size firms and medium size firms, and small size firms and large size firms, and medium size firms and large size firms respectively. Secondly, the results of analyzing the six factors from analyzing mutual dependence between environment, organizing structure and industrial strategy, and the determinant factor of entrepreneurship are as follows: the organizing structure affects mostly the small size firms. The product innovation and initiative action are meaningful, but the adventurous spirit and value are not in case of medium size firms in 5% meaningful level. And in case of large size firms only the product innovation is meaningful. Finally, the result of canonical correlation analysis between Entrepreneurship and the drawn factors is to adopt the alternative hypothesis instead of null hypothesis. Therefore, the determinant factors of entrepreneurship are influenced mostly by character and knowledge of the leading managers in the small size firms, by distinctiveness of industrial strategy and environmental factor in the medium size firms, and by organizing structure in the large size firms because they are the firms to use expert skill-managers, projects and internal communication according to adhocracy.
