본 연구는 윤리적 리더십이 심리적 임파워먼트와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향과 심리적 임파워먼트의 매개작용을 연구했다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 창원시의 제조업 종사자 277명의 응답을 표본으로 SPSS 12.0와 AMOS 5.0을 이용하여 검증하였다. 연구결과, 윤리적 리더십이 심리적 임파워먼트와 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 심리적 임파워먼트도 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 심리적 임파워먼트는 윤리적 리더십과 조직몰입 간의 관계에 있어서 부분 매개작용을 하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.


The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ethical leadership on psychological empowerment and organizational commitment, and to examine the mediating effects of the psychological empowerment on the relationships between the ethical leadership and organizational commitment. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were obtained from 277 employees working in firms at Changwon City were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. and AMOS 5.0. The findings are as follows: First, there was a positive relationship between the ethical leadership and the psychological empowerment. Second, there was also a positive relationship between the psychological empowerment and the organizational commitment. Third, there was a positive relationship between the ethical leadership and the organizational commitment. Finally, the psychological empowerment was a partial mediator on the relationship between the ethical leadership and the organizational commitment. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the research findings were discussed, and recommendations for future research were provided.
