다문화사회에 진입한 한국사회에서 문화적 역량의 가동은 근대의 안팎을 동시에 성찰하는 새로운 지평에 서는 것이다. 세계화의 흐름에서 다문화적 흐름으로 요청받는 한국사회는 사회통합을 활성화하는 역사적인 문화적 역량의 기초를 재발견해야 한다. 이러한 문화통합의 시각은 근대의 동화주의 모델로부터, 전지구적 차원의 공동위험으로부터 공동협력하는 새로운 시각이 불가피하게 요청된다. 이질적인 문화간 단절과 갈등을 뛰어넘는 다문화소통이야말로 문화적 역량을 활성화하는 지속적인 기반이다. 이 기반의 폭발핵은 문화적 역량을 가동하는 코뮤니타스의 계기로서 근대에서 잃어버린 집단감흥의 향유세계이다. ‘함께-하는’ 공동체적 열정은 이질적인 문화적 갭을 일순간에 뛰어넘을 뿐만 아니라, 잠재하는 향유세계를 새로운 소통으로 활성화하는 다문화의 가교이다. 문화통합자인 창조적 노마드로서 주사위인간은 유폐된 열정을 새로운 노마디즘의 기회로서 가동하여, 상이한 문화를 포용하고 공동구성하는 통합의 생성력을 높인다. 이 논문은 다문화사회에서 문화적 역량을 바라보는 시각이 근대의 결핍과 경쟁의 매몰로부터, 다문화를 포용하면서도 ‘공동향유’하는 다문화사회로의 주목해야 할 초점을 규명하고자 하였다.

In Korean society, having entered a multi-cultural society, the mobilization of its cultural competence is to stand on a new horizon from which we introspect both the inner and outer aspects of the modern age. In the stream of globalization, the Korean society that is asked for a multi-cultural stream should rediscover the base of the historical and cultural competence activating the social unity. This viewpoint of the cultural unity is inevitably demanded from a new viewpoint of cooperating against the common danger on the world-wide level from the modern 'assimilationism' model. The very multi-cultural communication getting over the separation and disagreement between the heterogeneous cultures can be a successive base activating the cultural competence. The explosive core of this basis is the communitas moment mobilizing the cultural competence and the world enjoying the ‘group impression' lost in the modern age. The 'cooperating' community passion can overcome immediately the gap between the heterogeneous cultures and also be the multi-cultural bridge activating the latent enjoyment world as a new communication. The man of a die who is a 'creative nomad' and unites cultures can improve the productivity of unity that will accept and form together different cultures by using the 'confined' passion as an opportunity of new nomadism. This paper has examined closely that the viewpoint of considering the cultural competence in the multi-cultural society should pay attention to the multi-cultural society that can accept and 'enjoy together' the multi-culture from the abyss of the modern deficiency and competition.
