This study is to help the elderly find out the copying strategy for their successful life and adaptation in aging society. It examined what the effects of voluntary activities of the elderly are on the ego integrity and the fear of death using Structure Equation Model. According to results, it was found that voluntary activities participation and the satisfaction of voluntary activities had meaningful statistical difference, but duration of voluntary activities had no statistical difference in the degree of ego integrity. The fear of death had no statistical difference in the degree of ego integrity as well. In other words, the more the elderly participate on voluntary activities, the higher they have ego integrity and the higher they satisfy with their voluntary activities, the higher they have ego integrity. In terms of achieving ego integrity, the suggestion for successful life of the elderly is as follows. Firstly, it should be developed and increased volunteer programs for elderly in the community welfare center. Second, it also important for the elderly to use existing senior centers as places to activate volunteering.
