The results were as follows: The Attitudes toward mental disorder of them was highly positive but people who were female, aged over 50, high school graduate, married and having religion were relatively negative attitudes toward mental disorder. On the Attitudes toward mental disorder, communities who were doing volunteer work in community mental health center and social rehabilitation center were more positive than them in psychiatric hospital and facilities. And people who did individual and professional volunteer work were more positive than not them. Therefore promoting volunteer work is a good alternate for communities to change their attitudes toward mental disorder, we need to consider our study results in drawing volunteer work strategies for communities.
