본 연구의 목적은 국제결혼이주가정 부모의 사회적 관계망의 구조적, 기능적 특성이 어떠한지 살펴보고, 부모의 사회적관계망이 아동의 심리사회적 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 광주․전남 지역에 거주하는 국제결혼이주가정 아동과 그 부모를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 기본사항과 부모용(남편용, 아내용), 자녀용으로 구성되어 있으며, 총 336부가 자료 분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과, 어머니의 사회적 관계망의 특성요인들이 다른 변인에 비해 상대적으로 영향력이 높은 것으로 나타난 반면 아버지의 사회적관계망은 유의한 영향력을 나타내지 못했다. 또한 부모의 사회적관계망의 특성이 아동의 심리사회적 적응에 긍정적 기능과 더불어 부정적 기능도 제공한다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국제결혼가족을 지원함에 있어 구체적이고 다양한 지원기능의 개발이 요구되며, 다양한 측면에서 접근할 필요성을 강조한다. 따라서 지역사회의 공식적, 비공식적 모임 등을 활성화함으로써 사회적관계망을 구축하여 자녀양육 및 교육에 필요한 정보와 지지를 제공하는 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 해야 한다.


The purpose of this study is to examine the structural and functional characteristics of parents' social network in international marriage families and the effects of parent's social network on children's psychosocial adjustment. In order to achieve this purpose, research was conducted with children and their parents in international marriage family residing in Gwangju and Jeonnam. A questionnaire consisted of basic information for parents(husband and wife respectively) and children and a total of 336 questionnaires were used for data analysis. As a result of this study, the characteristic factors of mother's social network had a greater effect than other factors, whereas no significant effect was found in father's social network. It was also demonstrated that the characteristics of parents' social network did not always have a supportive effect on psychosocial adjustment in children. The results of this study require to develop detailed and various supportive functions in supporting international marriage family and emphasize the need of approach in various aspects. Accordingly, a social network should be constructed to play a role of providing necessary information and support for child care and education by revitalizing formal and informal meetings in community.
