본 연구는 성인자폐성 장애인을 돌보는 부모의 돌봄스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고 그에 따른 정책적 측면과 지역사회와 지역사회복지기관의 실천적 측면에서 개선방안을 제공하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 현재 성인자폐성장애인 자녀를 돌보고 있는 249명의 부모를 대상으로 하였으며, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 가족변인 중 가족지지와 가족갈등이 부모의 돌봄스트레스에 영향을 미치고, 둘째, 자녀변인으로 자녀의 자폐성향과 일상생활수행능력이 부모의 돌봄스트레스에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 활동지원서비스 이용여부도 돌봄서비스에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 성인자폐성장애인 부모의 돌봄스트레스를 완화시켜주기 위한 정책적 및 지역사회의 실천적 차원에서 사회복지 개입 방안들을 제안하였다.
The purpose of the study is to find factors affecting in care stress of parents of adult with autism disabilities in South Korea. The research data was gathered by collecting from services users recruited from disability organizations and centers in South Korea. The survey was limited to parents who take care of their adult son and daughters with autism disabilities over age 19. The samples of the study consisted of 249 mothers and fathers. The data were analysed using SPSS program. Frequency, t-test, anova and step wise regression were used. The findings of the study are as follows. The factors affecting in care stress of parents were family conflict, family support, autism degree and ADL. On the basis of these results, this study provided the some strategies for social policy and social work practice for government and community welfare centers.
