The purpose of this study was to develop and implement a program for multicultural adolescents and assess and validate its effect on their career decision efficiency and career maturity. The main objectives are as follows: Developing an effective way to construct the program for career capacity, and validating its effect on career decision efficiency and career maturity. The subjects of this study were 32 multicultural adolescents attending middle schools in S area and T areas. They were equally divided into a control group and an experimental group of 16 subjects each. The researcher conducted the program with the experimental group eight times a week(two hours per session) for a total of eight sessions and took no measures with the control group. The pretest, posttest, follow-up test were analyzed with the ManWhitney U test and Wilcoxen matched pairs signed-rank test from SPSS 20.0 version. Furthermore the analysis of experience reports by session and researcher obserbation contents was indicated to supplement the limitations in the reliability of the qualititative data. The results indicated significant differences in career decision efficiency and career maturity between the experimental and control groups. Contents analysis further reveled that participants in the program displayed positive reactions towards the effectiveness of the intervention. Overall a program effect was found in those who participated in the career capacity program, supporting the hypothesis that the program may be beneficail for improving career decision efficiency and career maturity among multicultural adolescents.
