이 연구는 年表製作을 통하여 歷史學習을 전개하는 방안을 검토하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 歷史年表의 개념과 개발방안을 제시하고, 年表學習의 교육적 효과와 학교에서의 실시 정도를 살폈다. 그러한 결과 연표는 역사학습의 대표적인 수업자료이고 연표학습은 역사교육에 매우 유용하다는 점이 밝혀졌고, 그렇기 때문에 연표와 연표학습에 대한 관심이 더욱 증대되어야 한다는 점도 지적되었다. 이어서 이 연구에서는 학생들이 손수 작성하는 自作年表 제작의 의의와 유의점을 지적하고, 年表製作學習의 효과와 전개방안을 검토하였다. 그 결과 學生自作年表는 그들의 학습동기와 자아성취를 높이었고, 연표제작학습은 학생중심의 학습이나 자기 주도적 학습을 전개하는 데에 유익하다는 점이 지적되었다. 뿐만 아니라 지금까지 별다른 주목을 받지 못했던 學生自作年表와 年表製作學習의 효과와 전개방안이 새롭게 드러나는 계기가 되기도 하였다.


The Meaning and Ways of History Learning by Making Chronological Table on Students' Own Kim Deok Jin Chonnam National University This research is to investigate the ways of developing historical learning through a making chronological table. First, I presented the concept and development ways of the chronological table and investigated the educational effect of the study of a chronological table and historical teachers' execution degree. As a result, I found out that a chronological table is the best teaching material in learning a history and a learning of a chronological table is very useful in a historical education. That's why we have to emphasize the interest about a chronological table and a study of a chronological table. Secondly, in this research I indicated the meanings and attentions in making a self-making chronological table and investigated the effect and the developing ways of a self-making study through a chronological table. As a result, I found out that a self-making chronological table increases a student's learning motive and self-achievement and that a self-making study is very useful in developing a student-centered learning or a self-leading learning. In addition, I found out the fact that the effect and the developing way of a self-making chronological table and a making study not attracted to us so far are newly revealed to us in the end.
