본 연구의 목적은 2008년에 조사한 제1차 장애인고용패널조사를 활용하여 뇌병변장애인 근로자의 임금수준에 대한 실증적인 분석을 통하여 뇌병변장애인의 임금수준에 영향을 미치는 결정 요인을 규명해 내고, 뇌병변장애인의 임금수준의 증대를 위한 장애인복지 정책적 함의를 도출해 내고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 임금 결정에 미치는 5요인 16변수에 대한 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 뇌병변장애인의 임금에 영향을 미치는 요인을 큰 순서대로 나열하면 교육수준(β=.394), 소득수준(β=-.392), 고용형태(β=.391), 근속기간(β=.344) 순이다. 연구결과를 토대로 뇌병변장애인의 임금수준의 증대를 위한 함의는 중증장애인 의무고용제도와 여성장애인 고용에 따른 더블카운트(double count)제도의 시행, 직업훈련 제도의 조기 정착과 고용된 장애인 근로자를 대상으로 현 직무에 맞는 맞춤형 직업훈련 실시가 절실하다.
This study aims to look into the decisive factors influencing a wage level of people with cerebral impairments through the empirical analysis on their wage level, and draw political implications of social welfare for the disabled to increase their wage level. The results about 5 factors and 16 variables affecting the decision of the wage are as follows. The factors affecting a wage level of people with cerebral impairments were educational level(β=.394), income support(β=-.392), employment type(β=.391), and stay period in order(β=.344). Based on the results of the study, for the implication to increase a wage level of people with cerebral impairments, it needs to perform the compulsory employment system for people with severe disabilities and the double count system according to the women disabled, establish early the vocational training, and perform the customized vocational training suitable to preset position targeting the employed disabled.
