본 연구는 전래동요 속에 등장하는 자연물을 활용한 자연미술활동이 유아의 자연친화적 태도 및 미술표현능력에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 실험은 10주 동안 일주일에 2회씩 총 20회 실시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전래동요 속 자연물을 활용한 자연미술활동은 유아의 자연친화적 태도에 미치는 효과가 있었다. 자연친화적 태도의 하위영역 ‘동식물에 대한 애호와 관심’, ‘생명에 대한 존중의식’, ‘자연환경에 대한 선호도’에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 전래동요 속 자연물을 활용한 자연미술활동은 유아의 미술표현능력에 미치는 효과가 있었다. 미술표현능력의 하위영역 ‘기본도형과 선의 병합’, ‘다양한 색채’, ‘세부적 묘사’, ‘조화로운 구성’, ‘다양한 형체’, ‘주제 관련 표상’, ‘그림의 완성’, ‘표상과 언어의 연계성’에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, ‘창의적 표상’에서는 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nature art activity using the natural objects appearing in folk songs on children's nature friendly attitude and their artistic expression ability. The experiment was conducted twice a week for 10 weeks (total of 20 times). The results of this study are as follow:First, nature art activity using the natural objects appearing in folk songs has an effect on children's nature friendly attitude. Children’s 'nature friendly attitude towards animals and plants,' 'reverence towards life,' and ‘preference for natural environment’ showed meaningful differences. Second, nature art activity using the natural objects appearing in folk songs has an effect on children's artistic expression ability. Meaningful differences were found for various artistic expression categories including 'combination of basic forms and lines', 'color variety', 'detail description', 'harmonic composition', 'object variety', 'representation related to subject', 'completion of a drawing', 'connection between representation and language'. However, no differences were found for 'level of creativity'.
