AB - This paper is a study on the ecologism and the poetics of Seo Jung-Joo. Seo is the modern poet, who stands on the front line between the pre-industrialization era and the post-industrialization era. On the base of the traditional Buddhism, he interpreted modernity subjectively. And he rationalized his mystical-ecological thought and imagination. Seo's ecological poetics is composed of imagination of Yonkiron(緣起論), imagination of symmetry, imagination of Self-realization and love. The ecologism and the poetics of Seo can give us aesthetic post-modern vision of ecotopia, but those have a fatal weakness for ecofascism.
