이 연구는 계층분석방법(AHP)으로 직업기초능력의 중요도에 관하여 비서 직무전문가 그룹의 가중치를 산정하여 비서교육 프로그램의 개발 및 운영에 반영할 수있는 시사점을 제시할 목적으로 시행하였다. 전문가 조사를 위하여 신입비서, 경력비서, 교수 세 그룹으로 나누어 조사대상을 설정하고, 직업기초능력 10개 영역과영역별 하위능력 34개의 중요도를 각각 조사하였으며 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직업기초능력 10개 영역에 대한 상대적 중요도는 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력, 문제해결능력, 직업윤리, 조직이해능력의 순으로 중요도가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 직업기초능력 영역별 하위능력에 대한 상대적 중요도는 경청능력, 기초연산능력, 문제처리능력, 자아인식능력, 시간관리능력, 고객서비스능력, 컴퓨터활용능력, 기술이해능력, 업무이해능력, 근로 윤리가 각각의 하위능력내에서 중요도가가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 직업기초능력의 34개 하위능력 전체에 대한 상대적 중요도는 문제처리능력이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로 경청능력, 근로 윤리, 고객서비스능력, 사고력의 순으로 나타났다. 의사소통능력과 대인관계능력이 전문가 그룹 모두 가장 중요한 능력으로 인식하고 있다는 공통점을 보였다. 그러나 전문가 그룹간 인식은 다소 차이를 보이고있었는데, 신입비서 그룹과 경력비서 그룹이 직업윤리를 특별히 중요한 능력으로인식하고 있었고 교수그룹은 중요도를 상대적으로 덜 인식하고 있다는 점이었다. 신입비서 그룹은 경청능력을 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있었으며, 경력비서 그룹은문제처리능력, 교수그룹은 사고력의 상대적 중요도를 가장 높게 인식하고 있었다. 연구 결과에 기초하여 비서교육 프로그램의 개발 및 운영 시에 직업기초능력활용과 증진 방안을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of basic vocational competencies for secretarial jobs. The basic vocational competencies index of NCS (National Competency Standard) was designed on the basis of the research model. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was used to identify relative importance by three expert groups – secretaries of entry level, experienced secretaries and professors. This study is intended to provide basic data for developing and implementing secretarial training programs based on NCS. First, the AHP analysis of ten (10) areas of basic vocational competencies revealed the relative importance of ‘communication’, ‘interpersonal relations’, ‘problem solving’, ‘vocational ethics’ and ‘organization understanding’ by the study participants. Second, the AHP analysis sub-factors of basic vocational competencies revealed the relative importance of ‘problem processing’, ‘listening to others’, ‘work ethics’, ‘customer service’ and ‘thinking’ by all the study participants. Based on the results of this study, some implications for researchers in secretarial training programs, future research agenda and limitations were also discussed.
