With advent of knowledge-based industry and society, Basic Business Information Technology Qualifications(BBITQs) have been considered to be essential competencies to manpower who is working not only fields of information and communication but also fields of general industries. This competencies was showed as certificate objectively. As all industry sectors have recognized the importance of Information and communication application competencies, BBITQs which were evaluated comprehensive competencies of IT skills including computer application skill and development skill of multi-media contents was treated to be key competencies as much as reading and writing skill. BBITQs which are divided into national technical qualifications(NTQs), vendor qualification(VQs) and private qualification(PQs) as well as which have distinctive features according to qualification type, were conducted quantitative analysis based on AHP method. By using AHP method, competitiveness and priority according to qualification type were assessed by testing experts, qualification expert, and university professors. Survey results were summarized as fellows; Testing experts thought that the competitiveness of NTQs was superior to VQs and PQs. Also BBITQs assured portability, practicability and reliability were considered having competitiveness. Qualification experts thought that VQs were better than NTQs and PQs in terms of competitiveness, and BBITQs showed competitiveness if they were equipped with practicability, portability and reliability. University professors thought that competitiveness of VQs was much better than NTQs and PQs, and they also considered importance of practicability, portability and reliability in order for VQs to have competitiveness.
