본 연구의 목적은 현직교사 교육에서 조직학습과 협력학습을 실시할 때, 모바일 매체의 활용 가능성을 살펴보고, 모바일 기반 조직학습과 협력학습의 통합기초모형을 탐색하고자 하는 것이다. 활동이론에 근거한 협력학습모형이 학습자 개인과 매체와의 관계를 개인 또는 소집단 차원에서 미시적으로 설명하는 반면에, 공유된 인지모형의 형성과정을 설명하는 조직학습모형은 각 주체와 매체와의 관계를 교사로 구성된 전문적 학습공동체의 차원에서 거시적으로 설명하고 있다. 이렇게 분화된 접근은 협력학습을 극대화시키고, 학습결과를 공동체 차원으로 전환시키는 데에 효과적이지 못한 측면이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 현직교사 교육에 있어, 모바일 매체의 효과적인 활용에 초점을 두어 개인, 그룹, 조직(전문적 학습공동체)이라는 각 주체별 유대적인 관계, 즉, 조직학습과 협력학습을 동시에 고려한 통합기초모형을 제안하였다. 본 연구결과에 의하면, 모바일 기반의 조직학습과 협력학습의 통합기초모형은 교사 개인, 협력학습 그룹, 교사조직이라는 각 학습 주체들이 인지모형의 공유과정을 통해 지식을 축적 및 공유하고, 모바일 매체는 각 주체의 인지모형을 연결시켜주는 매개자로서 인지모형의 관계 및 내용적 측면의 균형을 조절하는 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 현직교사 교육에 있어서, 모바일 기반 통합기초모형에서 모바일 매체의 특징을 각 학습 주체 별로 살펴보면, 다음과 같다. 교사 개인적 차원의 측면에서 모바일 매체는 학습자 및 지식 중심성의 과정을 통해 개인의 인지모형에 표상을 만드는 역할을 하고, 그룹 학습적 측면에서는 교사그룹 관계 형성에 있어서 기술적, 사회적 매개자로서의 역할을 하며, 교사조직 차원에서는 그룹 차원의 인지모형에 축적되어 있는 교수-학습 방법 및 교과과정 설계에 대해 교사조직 전체의 피드백과 공감대를 촉진하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explore how the mobile devices help in-service teachers’ collaborative learning in school system as well as how their knowledge can be shared, integrated and accumulated throughout their learning community by using the mobile device. In addition, based on the review of collaborative learning and organizational learning literature, it is to propose the integrated model of organizational learning and computer-supported collaborative learning(CSCL) to explain how to facilitate learning activities in school system or teacher learning community. This model presents that wireless communications facilitate teachers’ learning at individual, group and organizational(teachers’ community) levels, and help the learning outcomes at each level transferred one another in ways of sharing mental models. This model emphasizes on the important role of mobile communication as mediations balancing a tension between social relationship and learning content. This study concludes as follows: first, mobile devices help an individual teacher to store images through learner- and knowledge-centered activities; second, mobile devices play roles as technical and social mediations in building relationships in a group. Third, at the organizational level, mobile devices are very useful tools to share internal- and external changes, and to accumulate groups’ learning outcomes into organizational memory while distributing the outcomes throughout organizations.
