본 연구는 농촌조손가족의 조부모들의 손자녀에 대한 비용-보상적 가치관이 손자녀양육 이후의 그들의 생활만족변화에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 실시하였다. 위계적인 회귀분석에 의하면, 조손가족 조부모들의 생활만족변화에는 손자녀에 대한 비용적 가치관(β=-.28), 손자녀에 대한 보상적 가치관(β=.26)이 가장 중요하게 작용하였다. 이어서 연령(β=.21) 손자녀양육활동 참여정도 (β=.17), 자아존중감 (β=.16), 경제적 수준(β=.13)변인이 유의하게 작용하였다 변인들의 상대적인 중요성을 규명한 결과 사회인구학적인 변인집단, 개인 및 관계적 변인 집단, 사회적지지 변인 집단보다는 손자녀에 대한 가치관 변인의 영향력이 가장 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 손자녀에 대한 비용적 가치관은 경제적 수준과 r=-.39의 상관을 이루고 있어 조손가족에 대한 경제적 지원의 중요성을 함축한다고 할 수 있다. 또한 손자녀에 대한 보상적 가치관은 손자녀 친밀감과 r=.35의 상관을, 손자녀 양육참여 정도와는 r=.27의 상관을 이루는 것으로 나타나 손자녀 양육 이후의 조부모의 생활만족의 향상을 위한 방안으로서 긍정적인 상호작용의 중요성을 시사한다고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 손자녀 양육은 조부모들에게 보상-비용 및 보람-부담의 이중적인 가치구조를 함축한다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine a relative effect of reward-cost value on Grandparents' life satisfaction change in the rural grandparent- grandchildren families after grandchildren raise. By the hierarchical regression, cost value on grandchildren(β=-.28), reward value on grandchildren(β=.26), age(β=.21), participation level of grandchildren raise activity(β=.17), level of self-esteem(β=.16), economic level(β=.13) affected on Grandparents' life satisfaction change in the rural grandparent-children families after grandchildren raise. The cost value on grandchildren was correlated with the economic level most highly. So it was considered that economic support on the rural grandparent- children families was important. On the meanwhile the reward value on grandchildren was correlated with the intimacy on grandchildren and participation level of grandchildren raise activity. Such result suggest that positive interaction was important for improvement of rural grandparents. Conclude, raising children implicate dual-value construct of rewar-cost for the rural grandchildren.
