본 연구는 가출 십대여성들이 또래와 그룹을 지어 생활할 때 이들 사이에 가시적인 폭력과 강압이 부재한 상황에서 상대적으로 약자에 해당하는 이들이 그 관계에협력하게 되는 맥락을 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 가출한 십대여성들에 대한경험연구를 통해 또래그룹 중심의 일시적 정착형이 새로운 가출 유형으로 부상하고있음을 살펴보았다. 그리고 가출생활을 통해 학습한 이 사회의 전반적인 착취관계가또래그룹 안에서 작동하고 있음을 보았다. 이때 또래그룹 안에서 착취하는 자와 착취당하는 자의 관계가 강압에 의해 작동하는 것이 아닌 가족이 해체되어 가출한 이들이 가장 필요로 하는 소속감과 돌봄, 친밀감, 외부로부터의 보호 그리고 또래그룹내부에서의 특혜를 제공함으로써 자연스럽게 자신의 ‘피해’에 협력하게 만드는 맥락에 기인하고 있음을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 착취의 맥락이 돌봄과 팀웍에 포섭됨으로써또래그룹 내에서 상대적 약자가 자신의 피해에 협력하도록 만드는 맥락을 조성하고있다. 이처럼 피해 협력성을 이끌어내는 비강압적 착취의 맥락은 강압적으로 보이지않는 권력관계 안에서 상대적 약자의 행위에 대한 설명이 권력관계의 속성을 무효화시키거나 그것에 면죄부를 부여하지 않게 할 것이다. 협력을 이용하는 비강압적 착취의 맥락은 이 사회의 지배적 해석체계인 강제/자발의 이분법에 포함되지 않는 다양한 층위의 피해를 맥락화시킬 수 있을 것이다.
This study aims to examine the structure which helps the weak to choose and participate in the mechanism by which they are exploited. Now a days there has been emerging a new kind of pattern of runaway culture which characterizes peer centered grouping and hierarchy among peer group. It is needed to note that exploitation in peer group is not based on forcing but on offering caring and making intimacy so that the weak are willing to participate in the structure to exploit them. When the structure of exploitation is included to caring, the dichotomy of offending and victim overlaps and that makes victim who work together with exploiter and potential victim who cooperate with offender. There is constructed a mechanism in which the weak cooperate with the offender when exploitation and protection exist. It would be called a structure of making victim cooperate with offender. A structure of making victim cooperate with offender would reveal victim’s agency and not nullify power relation as well.
