본 연구는 한중간 해공복합운송 체계 및 시장의 현황 및 문제점에 대해 분석하고, 실제 화주 및 물류업체를 대상으로 수요를 분석하였다. 해송운송에서 해공복합운송으로 전환 가능한 화물, 중국공항 경유에서 인천공항 경유로 전환 가능한 화물, 기존 해공복합운송 화물의 증가 예상량 등에 근거하여 수요추정을 한 결과 매우 큰 잠재수요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 잠재수요를 실제수요로 전환하여 한중간 해공복합운송을 활성화하기 위해서, 인천국제공항 부속항만의 건설, 자유무역지대 내의 sea & air 전용 터미널의 설치, 중국 출발항 부근의 CDC 건설, 복합일관운송 운송장 및 일관운송 프로세스의 확립, 복합일관운송 ULD의 활성화, 안정적인 항공기 스페이스의 확보, 중국 항공운송능력 부족에서 기인한 일시적인 화물이 아닌 Sea & Air 고유상품의 개발 및 체계적인 마케팅 등이 핵심적인 전략으로 제시되었다.
This research attempts to analyze problems, opportunities, and demand of sea & air inter-modal transportation market between Korea and China. Demand forecast is made on actual shippers and carriers of sea & air cargo and the result suggests that there is significant level of potential demand. Critical success factors to make most of such opportunities include: seaport and sea & air cargo terminal near IIA, CDC at ports in China, inter-modal way bill and ULD, steady airplane space for sea & air cargo, efficient marketing and brand strategies, and so on.
