청소년의 심리적 특성에 의한 여가관련 활동의 차이는 부모의 양육태도에 그 본질적 원인이 존재할 가능성을 안고 있다는 가설적 모형을 설정하여 부모의 양육태도가 청소년의 여가관련 활동 등에 미치는 영향 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 분석결과 부모의 양육태도에 따라 청소년의 성격발달에 영향을 주며, 형성된 성격은 다시 타인과의 관계를 규정하는 방식으로 여가참여 동기 등과 관련된 이유의 차이를 주고 있고, 나아가 여가만족에 미치는 영향관계가 존재함을 확인하였다. 구체적으로 아버지의 양육태도 중 자유를 제공하는 양육태도를 견지하면, 다정한 성격 및 활동적인 성격으로 형성되고, 이는 다시 여가참여 이유에 긍정적 영향을 주어 여가참여 만족도를 높여주고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 아버지의 양육태도가 과잉보호 방식을 택하면 타인에 대한 지배적 성격을 강화시키는 요인으로 작용하고, 이는 여가참여 이유를 낮추는 것으로 분석되어 아버지의 양육태도 중 과잉보호는 청소년의 여가참여 수준을 낮추는 요인으로 작용하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 어머니의 양육태도가 미치는 영향은 어머니와 친밀감과 애정감이 많이 노출된 청소년일수록 사회적 활동이 더 많으며, 이는 여가활동 참여에 있어 흥미나 호기심 및 자아개발 활동에 적극적으로 참여하고, 만족도에 있어서도 긍정적인 관련성을 갖고 있음을 보여주고 있다.

With making a hypothesis model which shows that the differences in leisure activities by the teenager's psychological characteristic might be the fundamental causes for parents' rearing methods, I intended to reveal that their rearing methods have an effect on its leisure activities. As a result of a detailed analysis, parents' rearing methods affect teenager's developing personality and then, in the way of prescribing relations with others, the personality formed give differences in causes related with motivation participating in leisure activities. In a material way, giving them freedom among father's rearing methods showed that those increased in satisfaction participating in leisure activities because they became a pacific and energetic personality and also it had a positive effect on causes of leisure participation. On the other hand, according to the analysis, taking the measure of over protectiveness reinforced a dominant personality and decreased causes of leisure participation so finally the over protectiveness reduced their level of leisure participation. The effect by mother's rearing methods is as follows. The teenagers exposed to mother's intimacy and affection take part in many social activities. Also in leisure activity participation, that they actively participate in interest, curiosity and personal development activities shows that it is concerned with satisfaction participating
