본 연구의 목적은 가족의 사회경제적 지위가 청소년의 사회적 배제의 정도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국청소년패널데이터 3차년도의 자료를 활용하여 부모의 사회경제적 지위 요인과 청소년 자녀의 사회적 배제와의 관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 사회적 배제에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인변수로는 부모의 학력, 이혼경험 유무, 주거형태, 빈곤유무, 월평균소득, 사교육비지출정도, 직업유무 등인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 사회적 배제는 성별로 다소의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 배제의 정도는 여자보다는 남자청소년이 다소 높게 나타났고, 남자청소년은 여자와는 달리 어머니의 학력과 빈곤유무가 사회적 배제에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족의 사회경제적 지위가 사회적 배제에 미치는 영향은 배제의 영역별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구는 빈곤 가정에 대한 경제적 지원강화와 종합적인 사회적 배제 해소대책의 수립 등을 제안했다.
This study is to explore family's social and economical positions that affect social exclusion of adolescents. The social exclusion of adolescents perpetuates poverty and individual and household level by denying them access to education, social service, public resources, and social participation. So, The social exclusion of adolescents is serious social problem in all country. Preceding studies have been reviewed and analyzed 2,304 adolescents who live at all city in Korea. The results of this study are as follows. First, Level of adolescents's social exclusion differ slightly along sexs. For instance, male adolescents social exclusion is higher than that of female adolescents. Second, the factors influencing of adolescent social exclusion counted parents educational level, income level, whether father job have or have not, and a residential type. especially, economic variables, family income or family poverty, is important factor variables to influence social exclusion of adolescents. Third, Respective forms of social exclusion influenced by different factors. Based on this consequency, this study made a suggestion that state support economic resource to poor family.
